Hello Saints, Total praise here, I'm new to this site and I'm just amazed at how GOD move. This web site is truly a blessing. To connect with brothers and sisters around the world. This is so exicting for me. After all the hell I been through, as a babe in CHRIST. Accepting HIM as my personal savory 9 months ago has pulled me out of a storm that some might have committed suicide. As a young black Irish CHRISTIAN being chased by GOD. Not knowing that there was a calling on my LIFE. I can truly appreciate all mankind no matter what color race. But it hurts me to my heart to see us divided because of our differences. I don't see with eye's. I see with my heart. If I love GOD and feel differently toward one of his other children. That would make me a liar. I don't see with my eye's. I see with my heart. Why do you think some of us fall short when it comes to loving each other when it comes to race? Is this just another attack of the devil,or just what some of us have been taught? So my brothers and sisters countinue to be blessed. Love always total praise !

Hey Total Praise, first, congratulations on taking the first steps in the most amazing journey you'll ever know! And welcome to Christian Life too!
I live in the deep South, on the South Carolina-Georgia state line, and the racial tension around here is intense sometimes! Part of the problem is ignorance, for sure. Part of it is satanic as well, satan is the accuser and he gets into peoples heads with all sorts of false accusations. Part of it is memories from the fairly recent past and a deep fear that things haven't really changed. They got the repentance part here, but not the forgiveness part. Without forgiveness and a genuine understanding that the ugly things the strong people did to the ones who were hurt were really wrong and why, things are never going to be able to heal.
Its really sad, because when I go to my home town in Maryland, there's no tension at all! People up there live in peace with real respect and appreciation for their differences; its really different from here!
As you get to know Jesus Christ, you will, I hope, come to understand what the Bible means by "There is no condemnation in Christ." Romans 8:1. Jesus doesn't put people down, He doesn't want you putting yourself down, and He doesn't want us putting each other down. Its taken me a long time to get that straight, but I'm really learning that now. So, first, try to learn to not put yourself down. Try listening to TD Jakes, he teaches stuff like that, and he's a good man.
Amen, sister Meg, up lifting in straight to the point! It's been a while since I experienced racism. But I stay in GOD face at all time. People in general treat each other different upon appearace anyway. That's why I didn't put my picture on this web site. I wanted to talk and connect with people that would talk to me about GOD and how we could better ourselves. Not based on how I looked, And I thank you sister MEG, for your uplifting words of encouragement. May GOD bless you, in JESUS name. AMEN
Hi, and God bless you, dear one in Christ. He loves us all and is totally color blind. Won't it be wonderful when He takes over this evil world? We won't have to worry about any of these foolish false judgements.
One thing I've experience living in a germanic country with a Nazi past is that as long as I show forth the Lord's love, His sheep hear His voice. Those who are not His sheep are against me. As you may know, if you have studied any end-time Bible classes, the world is getting worse and worse. The Bible says "Evil men and seducers shall wax (become) worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." (II Timothy 3:13) You can see it in the newspapaers. The devils children are coming up with more horrific ways to destroy or hurt, but there is a wonderful Golden Age coming soon that the Bible calls the Millenium and one of my most favorite verses says, "Nothing shall hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain." (Isaiah 11:9, and 65:25) Nothing. And God will wipe away all tears from our eyes (Revelation 21:4) So, the worse it gets here, the sooner it's going to get really good! :) I can hardly wait.
"Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. " (Jeremiah 1:8) I must confess that when I meet violent people, I tremble, but the Lord has always protected me. "The angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him." (Psalm 34:7) We should only fear the Lord and that comes from faith which comes from deeply studying and meditating on His glorious Word. The more frequent, the better.
Don't worry about the racists or the satanists or the ignorant or foolish people who judge us according to our color or our religion or nationality. Don't let that preoccupy your mind. But when you feel tempted to be bothered by such things, here's a verse that always helps me: "They looked unto Him and were lightened and their faces were not ashamed." (Psalm 34:5)Just immediately turn your attention towards the Lord. Focus on Him and His love.
The Bible says, "Meditate upon these (the positive Word) things, give yourself completely to them, for in doing so you shall both save yourself and them that hear you." I Timothy 4:15 - The more you give yourself to the Lord and let Him shine through you, the less people will see the color of your skin. Love has a way of breaking every barrier and even if you get persecuted for it, rejoice as Jesus said, "Great is your reward in Heaven". If you feel you need prayer, feel free to ask us for it. The Lord will answer every single time. God bless you and encourage you and strengthen you more and more and give you great peace and great joy.
I grew up in a small town in Texas and at a young age was taught and belived in racisim that the color of my skin made me better. How foolish of me It is somthing I see every day at home and it makes me so angry and sad when I see a guy in a truck with a Huge confederate flag flapping in the wind (not saying it is him being proud for his heratige) it is like some one in germany driving around with a nazi flag to me it shows they do not know True meaning of God. I am a very proud southener and love my country and state but God comes before them like the people have said before God is color blind I dont care if your 6"5' purple and where a 22 size shoe God made you that way and i wil love you like a brother. If any of us are "christians" and are racist we should get on our knees and pray that God will purge are mind and hearts of evil he loves all the same no MATTER WHAT!!!!
The devil is all about lies, deception and ignorance. He wants to keep us divided and uses all his tricks. Remember the old adage: "United we stand, divided we fall?" He thinks if he manages to keep us divided, nothing good can happen to our life here on earth.
But God created each of us in His "image and likeness" and everything He created He called it good, and when we really understand and appreciate this truth, we would crush the lie of separateness and overcome racism.

Oh, what an interesting thread. I live in an urban area in northeastern America, and there was just recently an incident where the owners of a local pool wouldn't let any minorities swim.
I personally think that the devil uses anything he can get his hands on. I think racism is a result of ignorance (and other things), but Satan is definitely taking advantage of it.
Racism is ignorance of the devil. Any kind of ignorace that keeps man away from God is of the devil and racism definitely fits that category. Paul writes in the new testament that we no longer walk in ignorace as the Gentiles do. We are, as Christians, to get wisdom and understanding about all things from God through Christ.
Racism is more to do with ignorance and mankind's inherent sinfulness. It is always a get-out for Christians to blame inappropriate behaviour onto the satan. Christians and others must take full responsibility for their own actions. If racism is carried out by non-believers, then that is a symptom of their condition
