Trip to Domincan Republic/Haiti

We all have been affected, overwhelmed by the earthquake that hit Haiti. Many would charge at the venture of going to assist in just about anything but unfortunately all cannot go. The question we then ask ourselves is “How can I help?”

My husband, Rev. Frankie Ocasio and myself are the pastors of The Great Harvest Church in NJ. We are a multi-cultural, bilingual ministry.

We will be sending four barrels full of food and clothing out this Saturday to the Dominican Republic. A team of four, which consists of my husband, myself, Sis. Alicia Santos, and Bro. Miguel Gutierrez, will be traveling to Haiti via the Dominican Republic in mid-February. Along with Evangelist Sandy Lantigua and Pastor Maritza Agramonte, we will travel five hours into Haiti to distribute the contributions. Upon our arrival, we will separate and place everything in the vehicles.

We are grateful to all who have donated something but much is still needed. Our desire is to fill these barrels to capacity.

We ask for your prayers and donations as we endeavor to uphold Haiti in this time of great distress. We will be videotaping and taking pictures of the work and then sharing it with all to view.

We are determined within ourselves to make a difference, to be part of the restoration of Haiti. All who know us are confident that this assignment will be completed.
